GEDPilot is an independent preparation project by Matthew D Giron MBA, author of GED Prep for the Next Step. Its public guides explain concepts and link readers to the authority responsible for exam or state policies.

Authorship and review

Matthew D Giron MBA is the named study-guide author. The MBA designation does not imply a teaching license or psychometric certification. GEDPilot does not claim that its practice bank or these public examples have received independent assessment validation. GED Testing Service does not endorse these materials.

Which source controls?

  • GED Testing Service controls the official GED test, its scoring guidance, permitted tools, and test policies.
  • The responsible state agency and official state GED policy page control jurisdiction-specific requirements. Confirm age exceptions, fees, residency, and retake restrictions before booking.
  • GEDPilot’s original explanations, examples, study plans, and practice results are learning aids. They do not replace an official score report or admission decision.

Source dates and conflicting policies

A checked date records when a source was reviewed; it is not a guarantee that fees or rules are unchanged today. When official sources differ, keep the source-specific qualification and seek confirmation from the relevant agency instead of combining incompatible rules. A missing fee or eligibility value is not evidence that the fee is zero or that everyone qualifies.

Original examples and AI assistance

Public practice questions and fictional writing passages are identified as original teaching material. They are separate from official released exam items. Coach Me is an AI study assistant and may be wrong; check disputed reasoning against the worked solution and the underlying math or source. Automated feedback does not establish official readiness or an essay score.

Report a correction

Send the page URL, exact sentence or question, proposed correction, and supporting official link or calculation to support@gedpilot.com. Do not include account passwords, private student records, or payment information. A correction may require updating an explanation, answer key, source attribution, date, or policy qualification.

Commercial disclosure

GEDPilot sells its own study book and paid preparation plans. Public guides and examples can be read without purchasing. Listing a state, school, source, or video does not imply an official partnership. Practice accuracy is not an official GED scaled score, and a passing result is not guaranteed.
